Our zirconia dental implants treatment steps
1. Consultation
If you are interested in zirconium implants to fill the gap in your smile, we start with a consultation in our welcoming practice. We explain the treatment in detail, including how zirconia teeth implants can benefit your case. We also assess your teeth and gums, take digital x-rays and answer any questions you may have.
2. Planning
If you are happy to go ahead, we use our state-of-the-art technology to plan the optimum positions for your implants. If you need a bone graft or other procedure due to insufficient bone density, this will be carried out at this stage.
3. Implant placement
Our experienced dentist inserts your zirconia implants into your jawbone during a routine surgical procedure. We use local anaesthetic and innovative techniques to minimise any discomfort. Your implants then need around 3-6 months to properly heal and fuse to your jawbone, so we place a temporary tooth during this time.
4. Smile!
When your healing period is over, we create your custom crown, bridge or denture to your exact specifications, ensuring your new tooth fits seamlessly into your smile. We fit this to your dental implant, giving you a complete new smile to show off with pride!
